Cat and Jade get banned from a hip karaoke bar. Meanwhile, Tori nurses Trina after her wisdom teeth are removed.

Tori and her friends are excited to work on a film directed by popular director Dale Squires, who unfortunately makes the kids do all the work, while he takes the credit. Beck helps Robbie fix an old car that his uncle gave him, after it breaks down in a bad neighborhood.

A heat wave hits L.A. and Tori and the gang decide to go to Venice Beach to cool off. Beck volunteers to take everyone in his Airstream RV. Once there, Cat leaves to find a bathroom while the rest of the gang stay back to get their beach stuff ready. They try to leave but the vehicle door is blocked another RV, leaving them trapped in the unbearable heat. Meanwhile, Cat is hanging out with four boys, not knowing about the gang's horrible ordeal.

Tori and Jade portray a married couple from the 1970s, a task that challenges their acting skills and their friendship, especially since Tori plays the husband. Meanwhile, Cat and Robbie embark on a business venture in which they tell people negative news in an upbeat manner.

Beck wants to ask a girl out but is worried about Jade’s reaction, so Tori and Andre attempt to get Jade a date to even the playing field. Robbie works to remove a butterfly stuck in Cat’s ear.

Tori wins a contest to sing the opening number at a big music awards show, but the producer wants to totally change her look and behavior. Tori agrees, but finds that she doesn't like her new image.

When Principal Eikner leaves Hollywood Arts, the school hires a new principal who makes all the students re-audition in order to keep their spots. Who will get kicked out?

It's holiday time at Hollywood Arts and the kids have to find the perfect Secret Santa gifts for each other because whoever gives the worst gift has to go door-to-door yodeling with Sikowitz.

Sikowitz challenges the kids to go a week without using their phones, laptops, or other portable electronic devices. The kids quickly realize it’s not going to be as easy as they thought.

Tori gets a chance to perform an act of stage fighting, but things look bad for her when she gets paired up with Jade. However, when the two perform their scene, she encounters a problem when she is accused of deliberately hurting Jade during a fight scene. Meanwhile, Trina struggles with Robbie's constant displays of affection after an on-stage kiss.

Jade has second thoughts about breaking up with Beck, so she asks Tori to help her win Beck back. Also, Robbie warns Trina that she is going to get a bad review for her one-woman show.

Tori can't figure out why Jade, Beck, André, Cat, and Robbie won't let her join the Hollywood Arts ping-pong team.

Andre develops a crush on Jade after they work together on a song and Tori tries to help him get over it. Also, Robbie tries to help Tori prepare for the Tech Theatre exam she must take and pass in order to take an R&B singing class, and Cat becomes obsessed with Jupiter boots.

Tori Vega gets the chance of a lifetime, after filling in for her sister's performing act, she is given the opportunity to attend the elite Hollywood Arts High School. However, fitting in proves difficult when she is targeted by Jade when she sees her with her boyfriend, which causes her to wonder if she truly belongs there.

She then decides to write an amazing pop song for Trina as a present. However, an ungrateful Trina decides to turn her birthday gift into cash by selling the song, because she thinks it isn't an actual gift since Tori didn't spend any money on it. Meanwhile, Robbie is asked by his grandmother to teach her about computers, and Cat decides to tag along. She regrets it, however, when Robbie's Grandmother shows a deep dislike of her.
