The journey starts in Vienna, the cultural stronghold of Johan Strauss. More culture can be found in St. Polten and Innsbruck. Then we arrive in the pilgrimage site of Mariazell. The Zillertalbahn and the Achenseebahn take us to the heart of Tyrol.

From Cape Town we travel to Pretoria by luxury steam train. We enjoy the beautiful South African environment and go back in time to the diamond mining at Kimberley. Naturally we make a real safari trip during this trip.

This episode takes us on a journey through the southern islands of New Zealand, where we visit the modern cities of Greymouth, Christchurch and Queenstown. We will experience what happened in the colonial past and the gold rush.

We start the journey in romantic Salzburg, the city of Mozart. In addition, we also visit Linz, the trading city on the Danube. Two regional rail lines run from Martigny in southwestern Switzerland to France and Italy. This episode once again shows the most beautiful train country in the world from a fascinating perspective, with beautiful images in a winter landscape.
