She finds the animal to be mean spirited and boring,so adopts one of her nieghbors/employer's pet dashand puppies. All seems to go well at first,but soon the dog growws to it's emense size,and chaos insues!

Dolly,later in the day later finds the article Bell was responding to. In the article,it specificly states that they must knit. Dolly, always the jealous type, goes to get the job for herself,and ends up getting hired. As if that weren't bad enough, Bell shrinks Dolly's sweater in the washing machine,and Dolly thinks she did it on on purpose to get back at her for taking her job.

However, it doesn't go to plan and she ends up compensating with coffee, joints and a stint in a rehab clinic, she even resorts to rummaging through her bin and drying out a cigarette in her oven! In the end Dolly decides she just can't live without her beloved cigarettes and chooses them over her American heart throb.
