    Jess goes to Quantico to train to be an FBI agent after Brooke transfers to San Francisco. Jess is passed from the training school by powerful John Pollock to work with her new partner, rule-breaking hip Nicole Scott as well as evidence expert Antonio Cortez. In the team's first case, a teenaged girl is caught on a survelliance camera stepping on an elevator with a stranger at a shopping mall. The elevator goes down a floor and opens to reveal an empty car. The girl is not seen for days after this incident. Nicole and Jess must work together to use Jess' visions and Nicole's experience and street smarts to solve this case.

Assistant Director Pollock identifies the body as that of an unprofessional undercover woman he had been using to get information about a gang of bank robbers. Jess has dreams about the snitch getting the electric chair and of Pollock kissing the woman.
