Mission: Pawssible

Dr. K wrestles a pot-bellied pig and handles an aggressive squirrel. Dr. T treats a tiny chameleon and a newborn quail hatchling. And the whole team fights to save a tortoise with a mysterious illness that has her whole shell and body turning white.

Dr. K performs emergency surgery on a baby bird that can't breathe; a guinea pig faces the prospect of a foot being amputated.

A snapping turtle case stumps Dr. K as it takes a mysterious turn; a traveling hedgehog gives Dr. T the silent treatment; a feisty pygmy goat stirs up some mischief; a Quaker parrot arrives without a beak; a bearded dragon needs a warm bath; and a pet rat gets a new pair of boots.

Rat-Boot-Touille

Dr. K treats a gassy rabbit, a lethargic sugar glider, a macaw with fainting spells, and a prairie dog with a toothache.

Silly Rabbit...

Dr. K’s staff has their hands full with surprising cases, including an unusual water amphibian that has lost her groove; a wild softshell turtle that was hit by a car needs immediate attention; a Quaker parrot with an eye pecked out; and a severely dehydrated potbellied pig that is in serious trouble.

How Venus Got Her Groove Back

A lemur is rushed in to the clinic barely breathing and a mouse gets an eyelift.

A Reptile Dysfunction!

To the Rescue!

It's a Bunnyful Life

Dr. Susan Kelleher owns and operates one of the busiest exotic animal care practices located in South Florida, Broward Avian and Exotics Animal Hospital. “Everything but dogs and cats. If it will fit through the door, I’ll treat it!” is Dr. K’s motto. And through the door they come. Rabbits, reptiles and birds of all shapes and sizes, foxes, ferrets, fish, marsupials, and even primates.
