Bronek and Władek become commanders of AK platoons. Together with Michał and Janek they receive a special task - they are to pick up a courier from London with very important information for the command of the uprising. The action of taking out Lena from the Pawiak went away. Janek first sees his son, Jasia. Fearful of the fate of the family, Janek asks Romek to take his sister out of town.
